DLP will join in BNB Smart Chain(BSC)
Hello, I’m Arnold Cho, CEO of DeLiquidity LLC (DLP Foundation).
DLP project derived from XPC project has been worked on for a long time, including the development period and the beta test period, and is about to be officially launched. The official launch will coincide with the launch of De:Liquidity Finance platform (scheduled for February 3, 2023).
Prior to the official launch, we would like to add BNB Smart Chain(BSC) base to existing Klaytn base and operate it as a multi-chain. The reason is that Binance Exchange is currently the world’s largest exchange, with the largest ecosystem, which is advantageous for increased liquidity and project expansion, and BSC with low fees is more suitable considering the characteristics of DLP projects with frequent transactions.
Existing users’ Klaytn-based DLP will remain the same, 90% of the total supply of DLP from the foundation’s undistributed DLP will be burned, and BSC-based DLP will be issued as much as the number of burned Klaytn-based DLP. In addition, Klaytn-based DLP can be changed to BSC-based DLP through Hotbit Exchange(scheduled in early February), and we will prepare to receive separate applications or exchange them through our own bridge. The basic benefits of Klaytn-based DLP or BSC-based DLP within De:Liquidity Finance platform will be the same, and detailed services will develop according to the characteristics of each blockchain.

XPC 프로젝트에서 파생된 DLP 프로젝트는 개발 기간, 베타 테스트 기간 등 오랜기간 공들여왔고, 공식 런칭을 앞두고 있습니다. 공식 런칭은 DeLiquidity Finance 플랫폼 출시(2023년 2월 3일 예정)와 동시에 진행될 예정입니다.
공식 런칭에 앞서 기존의 KLAYTN 기반에 BNB Smart Chain(BSC) 기반을 추가하여 멀티체인으로 운영하려고 합니다. 그 이유는 현재 Binance 거래소는 세계 최대 거래소이며, 이더리움 다음으로 가장 큰 생태계를 가지고 있어 유동성 증대와 프로젝트 확장에 유리하며, 잦은 트랜잭션이 발생하는 DLP 프로젝트의 특성을 고려했을때 낮은 수수료를 가진 BSC가 더 적합하다고 판단하였기 때문입니다.
기존 사용자들의 KLAYTN 기반의 DLP는 그대로 유지되며, 재단이 보유한 미유통물량에서 DLP 전체 발행량의 90%는 소각되며, 소각된 KLAYTN 기반의 DLP 수량만큼 BSC 기반의 DLP가 발행되게 됩니다. 또한, KLAYTN 기반의 DLP는 Hotbit 거래소(2월 초 예정)를 통해 BSC 기반의 DLP로 변경 가능하며, 별도의 신청서를 받거나 자체 브릿지 개발을 통해 교환 가능하도록 준비하고 있습니다. DeLiquidity Finance 플랫폼 내에서 Klaytn 기반의 DLP나 BSC 기반의 DLP가 받는 기본적인 혜택은 동일할 것이며, 각 블록체인의 특성에 맞게 상세 서비스는 발전해 나갈 예정입니다.
